Meet Your Hosts
Anne Marie Fine, N.M.D., is a licensed naturopathic physician. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. She believes that naturopathic physicans offer the changing world a healing paradigm founded on a rational balance of tradition, science and respect for nature. She recognizes that, when given the chance, nature is the greatest healer of all.
Dr. Fine is an honors graduate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, one of the country's leading educational institutions of its kind. She is a popular lecturer on the national speakers circuit, and has been featured on local radio and TV. For the past several year, Today's Arizona Woman magazine has awarded her the coveted position of one of the top five naturopathic physicians in Arizona.
In her practice as a primary care physician, Dr. Fine treats a wide variety of disorders and conditions, including environmental disease, menopause, PMS, food and other allergies, ADHD/ADD, irritable bowel syndrome and other gastrointestinal ailments, chronic fatique, fibromyalgia, cardiovascular problems, insomnia and depression.
Dr. Fine uses an eclectic approach. This combines botanical medicines, clinical nutrition, nutritional supplements, Chinese herbs, microcurrent therapy and homeopathic medications .
Dr. Fine is an innovative user of technology. She is known for her success with frequency-specific microcurrent therapy. She also often uses the Bioimpedance Analysis, a painless hospital test that reveals the overall state of your health for your age bracket. It involves simply taping an electrode to your wrist and ankle. A computer then gathers data on your body fat, toxins, nutritional status, hydration and cellular health.
Dr. Fine is an authority on nutrigenomics -- how you can modify your genetic predispositions with diet and dietary supplements to live a longer and healthier life. Reputable genomics tests must be ordered in a doctor's office visit, and those of Dr. Fine are processed exclusively at Genova Diagnostics.
